We use the book “thermal physics” of Schroeder. During the contact hours we lecture theory and work out assignments of this book. Homework assignments are mandatory and count towards at least 30% of the final grade. During recitation sections students are asked to present their solution and participate in discussing the solutions presented by others

Wijze van toetsen |
In a three hour written exam, the student is asked to solve problems, which are modifications of or closely related to the problems, discussed during the contact hours.
