Basis knowledge of systems design (problem solving, systems approaches)
Basis knowledge of information and communication technology (databases, data management and web technology)
Study Goals
- Understands the typical hurdles and challenges in compliance design and management (knowledge)
- Understand the need for employing an interdisciplinary approaches (insight)
- Understands the relationship between Value-Sensitive Design (VSD), legislation, business processes, applications and compliance (knowledge)
- Has the skills to use Group Support systems in problem solving and design (skills)

Lecturing, discussions, interactive group work
use of Group Decision Support System (GDSS)for identifying hurdles and challenges
Assessment
Report.
Students are asked to select and model an information chain and to provide an analysis of the typical problems categorized in institutional, political, social, strategic, economical, operational and technical challenges, and describe these from various stakeholder’s points of view. The analysis is supported by Group Support system. This analysis can be used as a foundation for the assignment in other modules.
